BLESSED SUNDAY

WOW didn't think I would be in today but I am just so thrilled, I woke up early enough to get ready and go hear  Mosab, I've been reading his book "Son Of Hamas" after watching his interviews and reading his book I sort of knew what to expect as far who he is as a person.

He is a down to earth  with a humble spirit of truthfulness. For someone his age wisdom is evident.   Deep love and concern for his family is seen in his eyes and heard in his words. Mosab gives a strong impression of honest stable understanding and separation; making and knowing the distinction between family and Islamic religion. He truly holds love and respect fearing for his family's spiritual endangerment.

I respect his boldness for stepping away from a life with Hamas who only offers violent spiritual death of such high extremes and the honesty about himself. His trust in God is a trust that is genuine something many Christians in the Western World lack.

Listening to him speak convicted me of my own spiritual weakness, my lack of zeal and trust. Woes me like Isiaha said." I am a man of unclean lips"

I honestly must say knowing who Mosab is caused concern as to where I wanted to sit this morning. In a sense he is a walking time bomb waiting to happen.

I'll give this comparison:  Jesus walked this earth in boldness knowing there would be a day he would face being arrested , tortured and killed on a cross. Jesus entrusted himself to the Father.  He knew his future in heaven and lived with peace in his heart.

Like wise Mosab understands there may come a day someone may try to do a hit or that perhaps take him torture and kill him. But like Jesus he walks his life fully entrusted to the Father and he also knows his future in heaven. He himself has said " They can take my body but they can't take my soul"
Seriously, if he was nervous or fearful it was not seen at all, he was koool calm and so peaceful as he spoke.

We too must live in the reality that someday we may be hit, perhaps by terminal ailment, an accident, what ever it may be our turn is around the corner.

We who profess Christianity although we are weak we can be strong if we remain focus and know who we believe in.  Yea easier said than done when we face trials and various storms of life but it is possible to overcome and walk through it with peace.

How can I be so sure of that?? Because I've done it, its remaining focused and prayerful simply trusting God to see you through it. It says in the Bible "For nothing is impossible with God"

I have also let God done more than I care to mention, but one thing is true, He has never let me down.

OK So my Sunday was great , went to church, went to In N Out :) then came home and took my nap. Gmail inbox is cleaned up and Facebook updated :) time to spend sometime with my watermelon yummy.

Till then cya keep kool and stay focused.
